General Electric 25898 5.8 GHz 1-Line Cordless Phone

I decided to stop giving the phone company $20 a month to give me voicemail and go back to using an answering system. But I didn't want anything big and bulky and certainly didn't want to use tapes, so I decided to try this out. I've had GE phones before and always liked them - they have a long battery life and are quite durable despite being dropped often by me. This one seems to be no exception. Setup is a breeze and I like being able to get my messages from the handset or the base. I'd buy it again.

An exceptionally good phone. Small in size, low in price and with a strong signal through out the house and at some distance out doors.
