The Herpetocultural Library is a collection of reptile books that began in the early 1990's when the hobby was in it's development stage for pets. The books are writen by long time "old school herpers" - or "pioneers of the hobby". The first issue was of this book was in 1993 and this '97 version has a lot of the information that is so wonderful and invaluable as well as extra color pictures of some of the wonderful color morphs and breeding.
A must have in any herpers collection.

this book is great for the price and for general information on bearded dragons, their housing and care but it is lacking in diet information as it only lists the most basic diet. I was hoping for a book with more diet information. great book for beginners as it has a nice general overview of keeping them as a pet.

) I bought this book because my grandson has long wanted to own a bearded dragon. This recent Christmas his parents Finally let him have one. He wanted to study how to care for a bearded dragon Before he actually brought the creature home. The breeder they were using, Highly recommended this book, so i bought it for my grandson. it has helpful, practicle advise. it was easy for even my grandson to read and understand. it has lots of pictures which also help a person who is just learning about these animals. so, we were very pleased with this guide; it helped us learn what we needed to know. and, i am a bit surprised to say it, but we all like this bearded dragon quite well.
