Movie Description
Singing cowboy Gene Autry stars in this quartet of vintage Westerns that offer equal parts action sequences and musical interludes. In COW TOWN (1950), Autry ignites a range war when he fences his ranch with barbed wire to end cattle rustling. In WHIRLWIND (1951), he plays a postal inspector investigating a series of mail robberies involving a shady land baron. In THE OLD WEST (1952), Autry takes on a criminal gang undercutting his stagecoach business. And in SONS OF NEW MEXICO (1949), he takes a young boy under his wing only to discover that the lad is in debt to a dangerous gambler.
