Synopsis
This novel, the last of Dunnet's House of Niccolò series, begins with Nicholas de Fleury in Edinburgh after a four-year absence. He swiftly becomes involved in intrigues at the court of King James, including both spying for the crown and a friendship with the king's maverick brother. In addition, though he and his wife, Gelis, are finally reunited, things are far from smooth. Dunnett's saga, with its multitudinous cast of characters and sweeping grasp of events in 15th-century Europe, comes to a satisfying conclusion in GEMINI.

Industry Reviews
"For those who have made the long journey with de Fleury, Dunnett provides a satisfying roundup of answers to persistent mysteries, and a climax that is both fitting and very moving."
Johnson

"With the publication of GEMINI, The House of Niccolo is at last complete....The House of Niccolo can now be read as a single novel, as it was clearly intended to be. And as The House of Niccolo draws to a close, something extraordinary emerges....[I]t turns out that the main characters of the Niccolo books are in fact the forebears of Francis Crawford of Lymond [the hero of Dunnet's earlier series The Lymond Chronicles]."
