I originally bought this book when it first came out in 1984 and my copy was destroyed when my workshop flooded. Although dated a good deal of the information
will always be applicable for someone who wishes to cut and polish gem stones. John Sinkankas will always be considered one greats in the field in my book, he covers the subject in a style easy to follow both for the new commer or an old rockhound that just wants to brush up on his technique.
