Gattaca (DVD, 2008, Special Edition)

Just added it to my collection of Sci-Fi. If you like Sci-Fi, then it is a must for your collection too.

This is a great movie. It appeals to all audiences. I show this movie to my high school students and then we talk about the ethics of genetic engineering on humans. The kids love to watch it and its a movie I enjoy also. The actors do a great job portraying their roles. They do a good job with the scenes; making them realistic and not hokey low budget sci-fi movie scenes.

The best movie. It deals alot about the future and helps you realise its down to earth and stuff like that can happen its just awesome.

Great product that arrived in great condition and quick timing. This was much beter than trying to find the DVD in stores.

I won't bore you with plot details, but suffice to say this is a great cult-classic. I loved this movie because behind the science fiction setting is a powerful human theme about how people are not driven by their genetic and physical abilities, but by the force of soul, spirit and desire. It's a very mellow film but still manages to pull its weight with some suspence but it primarily carried by its storyline. A great sci-fi for anyone!!!
