Garmin nuvi 765T GPS Receiver

i had a very bad experience for the refurbish product i bought twice the same device (Garmin nuvi 765T GPS Receiver) but the problem was same screen goes on & off and lot of more i will suggest you all dont ever think about to buy a refurbish item from ebay its really reallllllly suckkkksss...... i am very disapointed and nobody help me customer sevice doing there great job getting shipping money in their pockets basically they ripping off people ....
bottom line is please dont buy refurbish item its not worth it

bought the Garmin nuvi 765T GPS Receiver four weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the features available . I'd recommend the Garmin nuvi 765T GPS Receiver

i spend almost $400 dollars for the gps 765t almost couple months but not very happy with it.
First is battery bad won't hold power longer than 5 min after unplug even that been charge for a whole day, that happen right on the first day i receice the item.
Second no longer receice satelite even i tried to upload a few time follow the instruction in garmin support website. tried to contact the seller, seller said not respondsibilities because pass 45 days. i tried to contact garmin support but i have a hell of time for waitting on phone, i don't have much free minutes for my phone to wait hour after hour on phone and still can't get a hold with any technican support.
now i have to borrow my parent gps every time i going out because i just move to big city and not get alone with new city yet and my $400 dollars GPS are lay in the corner that suck.

My only minor complaint is it does not locate the satelite in my apartment or work here in Dallas.

Otherwise it works really well.

this is my first gps i have owned and used. the gps is great and easy to use. registering it online was simple and updating the maps and firmare was easy but it did take about 2 hours to download the files just because the files were so large.

accuracy has been spot on; even with the speed zones, the gps will switch as soon as i cross from one speed to another (i.e. 55 mph zone to 45 mph). bluetooth has been great and i haven't had any issues with connection or the other person understanding my conversation. the speaker volume on the unit is good. i have had to turn down the volume a little on my radio to hear clearly but that is understandable considering if it's that important, the radio would be just a distraction anyways for listening to directions or carrying on a phone conversation through the bluetooth.

overall, i'm greatly satisfied with the garmin 765t. it's a great tool, easy to use and i would definitely buy again...i wish i would have bought it sooner.

- The bluetooth for phone is not perfect, but functional.
- MP3 works fine.

This gps is a very reliable product. Very easy to use and directions to my destinations are clear and concise. My only complaint is the low volume when using the bluetooth feature.

I like it ,cause of this is garmin. I mean, I like garmin. This item is very nice and have a perfect working condition.

This unit has the features that I value and it is very user friendly. Have had several other Garmin units and find that their software is always more current than the built-in units in 3 of my cars. the cost of updates is also reasonable.

I originally purchased the nuvi 765T for my wife but after she was determined she would not use it I got to keep it in my truck. I love it and use it every time I drive from looking up restaurants on the go to just having it display the map. My Garmin is there when I need it.

This unit is very user friendly, with a good many features, with only a few flaws. One problem encountered was the use of the bluetooth. I use a LG cell phone and all works well, but after a few minutes it will disconnect automatically. Guess it is telling me to cut conversations short. This is not a major problem. Overall the unit does what the description says it will do, and as with all GPS units the accuracy varies. One must remember GPS is not a replacement for maps and the ability to read and use maps. GPS is a tool to assist you in navigation. Garmin if possible needs to add to all auto GPS units a tracking ability and reverse route capability as found in their handheld units. I bought this unit to assist me when making long trips.

Easy to use.Feature packed mapping is the best i have found.There are a few gliches in the mapping while in shortest distance mode it wanted me to turn on to a state trail.

You can not beat a Garmin as far as I am concerned. Have owned 4 and all have preformed very well. The prices continue to go down and the product continues to improve.

I own the Nuvi 360 and it has been a great tool for my usage. I look forward to the upgrade of this new 765T GPS from Garmin. Then short time that I have spent looking through it has really shown that Garmin has really advanced the software for these devices. As this is a gift for the Spouse, I will have to wait until after Christmas to know for sure this has been a worth while buy. Time will tell on this one, but know that all the dealings with Garmin have been nothing short of Great. I even have an older Garmin hand held that still works Great! I give everything I have purchased from Garmin a 10/10 so far and continue to look forward to better products from this manufacturer.

THis product exceeded all of my expectations. I have the original Garmin Nuvi I bought over 5 years ago for close to $800.00. The bluetooth phone pairing is amazing and it also allows me to use all the features of my blackberry while driving. Including voice command and caler ID. I highly reccomend this unit to anyone wishing to get a full featured GPS at a great price. Also the 3-D detail of exits on freeways showing in advance the proper lanes is a real

The product is good, but the nuvi 750 model has a better program for auto routing and costs cheaper.
