Garmin nüvi 260 Car GPS Receiver

I paid 38 dollars for overnight shipping, paid for it 29JUN and still have not received the item...not to impressed with the express 1 day shipping

the usb cable dosent work and the car plug to cig lighter has to be just right or it dosent work i have tryed like it said to do a total reset in instructions and it will not allow me to do so

In good shape without any major scratches or damage. Works great in finding new places and where to go. Would reccomend one to anyone who is interested in one.

Excellent condition! It Sure Helps this directionally challenged individual! Keeps me from getting lost in the strange city me job has me living in for 3 months. I like the fact that if talks. It says each street by name & tells you how far it is to each turn or exit. I also like the fact that it gives you the time of arrival.

Great GPS for it's price. Very happy with it. Was able to go to Garmin website and update map and get new icons for free. No complaint yet. Going alot of different places now. Very happy.

I used garmin in the past and if your maps are up to date it is more accurate than tomtom and some of the others i used.

I bought this gps receiver a few weeks for my fiancee. She has to travel to another city for school. It is an amazing gadget, easy to use with good warranty! My product was used but I was able to register and get the latest maps 2009-2010 for free!!!!! Awesome! I think Garmin has the best GPS systems!!

The product calls out street names and is loud. I needed a GPS and this was the best product for the price.

Already own a Garmin 2720. The wife wanted one just like it, but they were not available, so I purchased a Garmin 260W (refurbished) for her. Works like a champ!! It is very easy to use right out of the box, with almost everything self explanatory. Large screen with easy to use "touch" function. I would buy another.

I really like this gps, i have tried a lot of other brands but garmin is by far the easiest to use and understand. I have used it also to locate different businesses such as walmart, closest malls, liquior store, etc..... it is very handy and i definately would buy another.

This is a cost-effective GPS that speaks road names, not just turns.
Its accurate and works as great as other Garmin products that are just slightly more expensive, such as, Street pilot C580. Well, it doesn't hate the bluetooth and some other excessive features, but I personally never needs those.
However, once in a while, it has problem with "losing satellite" and it just stops at where it was (my GPS is always placed on my front wind shield so it's certainly exposed while I'm driving). It sometimes goes on for a while before it comes back up. The good thing is it doesn't happen that often. I'm sure it does happen to other GPS as well.
Overall, this it's great!! I love it

Slower loading than I thought and waits until you are on top of the turn to tell you to turn left or right. All in all it is very helpful if you don't know where you are and gives good directions. will get you where you're going.

This is extremely easy to use. You don't have to be an electronic whiz to navigate with it. Garmin's web site is awesome...it let me download the 2010 map (this takes a good while to do but is worth the effort) just by registering my product. The detail for street addresses is a little bit off. It told me on right when it was on left many times. But I can get over this because all in all...it's terrific. I highly recommend this nuvi version.

Let me explain, when i purchased my GPS i had concerns about it being refurbish but, i have not had any problems and would like to say THANK YOU!!!

IF YOU NEED TO GET THERE, GARMIN 260W (WIDE) IS THE GPS TO GET YOU THERE. I'VE BOUGHT 6 OF THEM AS GIFTS SO FAR AND EVERYONE IS TOTALLY DELIGHTED WITH THEIR GPS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENT THIS MODEL.

I like that it has a text to speech option.i don't like how much it costs to update the maps ,when you pay that much for a gadget, you would think the company would reward you with nice little things like that.I also don't like that the 260 doesn't have a MP3 player...overall it is a cool little toy,mainly cause i had purchased mine for the low price of $60.00 off eBay...i would never pay full price for one of these!

the 760 has all the features I need. I do not live in a large metro area, so some of the traffic stuff does nothing for me. I have updated the maps and the firmware. Unit is solid and works well. The suction mount let the unit fall a couple of times, so I picked up another one for about $9 from ebay. Lost my "voices" a couple of time, but a trip to the web reinstalled the voice drivers. I am happy with the unit and think the price point of $170 is about right.

It was good product with reasonable price and I will use it for my Chiangmai tour, Thailand. It is easy to find a map that I need for my future tour.
