Garmin nüvi 205 Car GPS Receiver

Very good product. Very good idea. This is my first and it was quite an experience. Before GPS I would go camping and to find the nearest store to buy groceries I would go street by street. Now I press "shopping" in the GPS and find dozens to choose from including name and distance. After that it takes me there turn by turn.
In particular this GPS was very good, but if you can afford the ones that give you the street name, go for it instead.

It was Garmin! It was one of the least expensive ones with coordinates which it was the most important factor for me to choose a GPS. It is very user friendly. And the size is perfect, I can use it inside my car with its mount or just put it in my pocket and go for example for hiking.

Had to return item the maps were completely uninstalled prior to receiving. that was not stated in the item description or i would not have purchased the item.

I decided to buy this Garmin nuvi because I have another Garmin GPS and just love it. I wanted another GPS unit for my other car so that I wouldn't be caught without one. Garmin products are so easy to use and read. And this red Garmin nuvi 205 matched my red vehicle! I love the Garmin brand and ebay makes it more affordable to get what I want.

This is a simple, easy to use GPS. I have two of them now and would highly recommend it. You cant get lost...

Easy to use...pretty much self explanitory as how to use it. No more downloading maps before going on a trip.

Good product with features as promissed. I needed a reliable system to guide me to my destination. It is not clear how to add on additional maps into the system.

For what it is supposed to do it does very well. This unit is the best and most reliable GPS for the money. Cheap, has all the bells and whistles an average user would need, and they just keep ticking like the energizer rabbit.

There are better GPS units but for the money and included features, its hard to beat this model. It will do the job intended with real ease and few mistakes. I say few because there are always going to be some either from the unit, your programmed features or your inputs.Be careful in choosing faster versus closer routes, it does make a difference in what route you receive. You need to have a fair idea of where you want to go and how to get there as this might take you a different way but they are invaluable for finding a strange location you have never heard of before or for planning different routes on garage sale day. The best advice is to play with all the features it has until you learn which does what and then keep and use the ones most advantageous to your needs. It is very convenient to be able to navigate without cumbersome maps. It identifies roads that are not on maps which is great in such a rural area.

I had been shopping for a new gps in local stores. This took some serious time. Compairing prices, warranty and availability. Ebay was a piece of cake. All different brands and information at a click of the mouse. It was easy to weed out unneeded options and keep in my price range. Buying couldnt be any easier than pay pal. Once again, a simple click and I had exactly what I wanted at a great price. Shipping from the seller was fast with easy communication, as has been the case with all my ebay purchases. My new gps was exactly as described by seller. On top of everything else, it's a blast buying something at an auction. My new Garmin nuvi 205 gps goes everywhere with me now.

This car GPS does everything I need, but doesn't have Canada like the 255. Great value for the momey.

My Garmin GPS is a life saver. It helps me get to where I'm going without the hassle. If there is construction, it detours me around to get me to my location. It also finds the fastest route for me. The voice prompts let me keep my eye on the road and all I have to do is listen for directions. Great product. Would highly recommend.

It's a great piece of hardware. Comes in handy so much. The one thing I dislike is how quick the battery dies. I went on a 3 hour trip and it went dead when I was 30 minutes away. That was a little disappointing, but I like it overall a lot.

Beautiful product. Simple and easy to use. Gives great driving instructions and is repetitive which helps when driving alone. Does wonderful recalculations of route when you want to change directions.

The unit was very easy to use. I did not even have read the directions. I bought this for my wife as a b-day present and she was able to use it with very little instruction, she has next to no experience with GPS.

There are some extras but not so many that it make me wonder why I paid for stuff I will never use.

nice gps for the money. Its easy to navigate the screen and the settings. The map is up to date and the whole thing is very plug and play. The screen is big enough to see every street on there.
