Garmin eTrex Legend Handheld GPS Receiver

Introduction
This is a discontinued model that has old firmware not compatible with the new WAAS satellite protocols.
There is a new model Garmin eTrex Legend H  which has a High Sensitivity chip better for deep woods
and canyon hiking.

If you buy one, it comes with a 9-pin serial cable, not a USB cable. You will need this cable to upload a
firmware update from Garmin or to upload maps, waypoints and routes from GPS software.

Best uses for this GPS are hiking, geocaching, hunting, inland fishing. This unit is waterproof but it does not float.
