    This is a Great Unit! Immediately upon taking this unit out of the box,it was up and running.The reason why I selected this unit is because I did a little research and I was trying to find a unit that would come closest to that of an-in-car navigation system that luxury vehicles have,This unit has it all! If you are just driving,it shows you exactly where you are and the cursor turns as you turn.There are multiple map views tozoom in and out from.The The farthest zoom is the view of the entire U.S.A and the closest zoom is pinpointed to the street that you are on.You can search an address or pull up a list of attractions,food,lodging,etc. The unit is touch screen and comes with a remote control.As you are driving,the unit also displays your speed and if you enter in a destination,it will diplay the appx.time that you will get there.So cool! You have to subcribe to XM radio (for a fee) to access all of those cool features.It also shows you the phone number to the stablishment that you enter in.You can also check the weather at locations that you enter.I love this unit and I would Highly recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a GPS device.

    I have had Garmin GPS units for several years and I have to say this one is the best ever. I thought I had the cats meow when I had the StreetPilot III...until I received my new 2730. Garmin is excellent on supporting their products as well. If you haven't experienced a GPS yet and are thinking you might like to try it, this is a great one to get started with because theres nothing better than starting at the top!! Great job Garmin.
