The Garmin GPS 60 GPS Receiver is an excellent handheld GPS for the money. The manufacturer has installed many user-friendly features that make the first time buyer or the professional happy. They manufacturer has excellent customer service and many additional add-ons to make this unit an extremely versatile GPS to be used in town, on trips, hunting, fishing, cycling, hiking, four wheeling or camping.

1. One of the best ways to protect investment is to purchase a Protective Case for this GPS. I bought it because I needed a GPS for paragliding. Mainly for the track log and speed indicator. It has 10 000 trck log points so can log lots of tracks before its full.

I am very happy with the product.

The product was fine but this company didn't send my product and then lied saying I did not pay when I immediately paid with paypal. Then they tried to get me to drop my dispute, again lying, stating that if they didn't send the product then I could open another dispute, which you can't do. Then they put an alert on me lying about non-payment again. I got my money back but feel confident they will do this to another customer. Beware.

We had a ball with the Garmin 60 over the Christmas holiday. The geocache software was easy to use: just enter in the coordinates, and the screen shows where you are, how far to the goal (straight-line distance), and exactly what direction to go

It was fun that it also showed our rate of speed, even in the car (good speedometer check).

Recommend for geocache beginners

Good seller. Difficult to pay if you dont have a Master Card, but there isn't much the seller can do the fix this problem. I highly recomend this seller!
