Gantz - Vol. 7: Fatal Attractions (2005, DVD)

Gantz is one of the very best Animes to ever come out of Japan or any other country for that matter, for several reasons. Superior initial intellectual idea, story lines, follow through, animation & backgrounds, soundtrack & music,& syncronization.
Gantz tackles several of lifes biggest questions in a very interesting and revolutionary new way.
Do we really die when we die? Is there a Purgatory? Do we get second chances? Is there a Heaven and/or a Hell? Is there a God, or Super Intelligent Beings manipulating us, or Government Agencies?
Volume 7 runs through the old cliches' about fatal attractions, femme fatals, and religious manipulation. What is love, what seperates love from like & sex, and makes the difference? And how does this all correspond with friendship anyway, and is that important in the way respect is in life? And like all the volumes before it has our triumverate of heroes & heroin left with as many, if not more questions than they started out with in the beginning of the episode. But this is what is so great about Gantz.....you walk away questioning, again & again. Thinking, then wanting more! It draws you back like a fly to honey....you have to watch each episode again, and you see & feel, and understand more.
And you want more because you question more....Gantz draws one in like a never ending spiral!
Gantz is best savored in the box set. Watched from volume 1 to the conclusion! And best with many friends. Watch, question, discuss! This is not just an anime, but an ethereal excercise for the transcendental mind as could only have come from Japan.
ENJOY - ENJOY - ENJOY!!!
