Movie Description A pair of world-weary vice cops spend their off-hours selling off their confiscated drugs and murdering their buyers, cleaning the streets and padding their own pockets simultaneously. But their plan falls flat when a victim turns out to have been an undercover DEA agent, and the two are unable to use their customary excuse--that the shootings are gang-related--to prevent an internal investigation. Bolstered by a gangsta rap soundtrack featuring its late star, Shakur.

Editorial Reviews "...Like a classic Warner Bros. film noir with a lot of colorful speaking roles....A complex, well-crafted, clearly told story....It is refreshing that the film has no heroes..." Chicago Sun-Times - Roger Ebert (10/08/1997)
