Cute family movie. The Rock is very likeable.

Audio & Video are superior on this Blu-ray DVD. You will not be disappointed.

Extras are so-so with one exception "Chalk Talk" - this feature is fantastic. Instead of commentary that is stuck to the speed of the film, they actually pause scence when need and write on the screen with virtual chalk to point out what they are talking about. Very cool feature & one that I have never seen used before.

Great movie, my husband and I really enjoyed the movie. I bougth it as a christmas present for him. Movie with message, no just fun

I purchased this DVD because I've seen this movie before and liked it enough to go ahead and purchase the DVD. I usually will only buy previously viewed DVD's whether they come from a Ebay auction or from the local Hollywood Video store. I don't want to pay full price for the movies I purchase because I am always trying to stretch my dollars so that I can purchase something else with the savings, especially Blu ray DVD's. I can't pay $25-40 for a Blu-ray disc. Most previously viewed discs are in excellent condition,as with this one, but are cheaper and worth the deal and many times there are even greater savings from Ebay auctions.

The movie was received in excellent packing, it was brand new and fast delivery. We loved this movie, there is nothing we don't like about it. The price was very good also.

The Game Plan Blu-ray was great! Happy with the disc and it's features. At first being a fan of HD DVD's I was not sure how Blu-rays would hold up when it came to the Menu and special features but so far they have been fine.

This is yet again another good movie with The Rock in it. Never knew he would end up being such a successfull movie actor. This movie is fun for the whole family. I laughed and cried at this movie and so did my family. Highly recommend you go out and at least rent this one and watch it. Great Movie!!

One of best movies The Rock ever stared in . Far better then the others.It is very funny, keeps you laughing the whole time .

This is a history of a football player who thought that had it all until he met his 8 year old daughter and then develops with her a relationship to the point where he realizes he could not live anymore without her.

This movie is touchy, funny and has all elements of a typical Disney release, including a happy-ending. Recommended.

Very good family movie especially if you have a daughter. I would recommend to anyone to watch this movie. A must have

Synopsis:

The trailers for this movie had made it look BAD that I was actually dreading to see it.The Rock was not the star of the show , but the supporting cast members were awesome! Young Madison Pettis stole the show! She was a joy and a half to watch and she had me cracking up. Also Roselyn Sanchez (the actress who plays the ballet instructor) was amazing! Why haven't I seen her in more movies?! She was charming, exotic, gorgeous and really a joy to watch. I really want to see both of these stellar actresses a LOT more! They did such a great job! The guys on Joe's football team were equally hilarious and caring, really bringing to life that whole concept of a team being like family. The Rock did a decent job as well and it looked like he was having fun playing that role, but it was really the supporting actresses and actors that made this movie so enjoyable. Overall, even despite the awful trailers for this movie, I highly recommend that everyone give "The Game Plan" a chance. You just might be pleasantly surprised.

This was a great Blue Ray transfer for this movie. It has a very clear picture, brilliant colors! I am very pleased with this purchase. I get to see The Rock and Elvis! What could be better?

How could a movie about pro football player in Boston who idolizes Elvis Presley and has a really great bulldog not be good? Well, you could toss in a terminally cute kid, stir in a lot of estrogen, add The Rock as the star, and let Disney bake the whole schmaltzy mess. In all fairness The Game Plan is like the movie of my youth (very young youth.) It's like an Elvis movie but thankfully The Rock only sings a little. And what of this guy? We all know he's no actor but neither was Arnold. It's hard to tell sometimes if he takes himself seriously but it's believing exactly the opposite that makes him entertaining. I would easily recommend this to people as a family movie and I know most guys would grimace and groan a lot even thinking about watching it but it's really not that bad and is actually pretty good at what it was meant to be. A bear would have helped but a bulldog is not a bad substitute. As a bonus the Jeremy Shockey based character is pretty durned funny.
