Game Management
I purchased this book, because it was required reading for a class about Aldo Leopold and his teachings. Game Management differs from Leopold's most famous book, "A Sand County Almanac" in that was written as a textbook. "A Sand County Almanac" is a series of essays designed to entertain more than teach. However, "Game Management" is far from a typical, boring, dry textbook. Leopold manages to teach the basic ideas (some outdated, but most still applicable) of game management in a way that is entertaining. He holds on to his fanciful style of descriptive writing and even alludes to the mystical side of nature without losing credibility.
