Growning up on the North Side of Fort Worth, Just above the Jacksboro Hwy.
My parents told us not to go to any of the places there.BAD things happens on
the Jacksboro Hwy!
This book tells some of the things that went on back then. Most of this happened before my time, but I remember the stories and what people was saying.
It refreshed the things I had forgotten.
Gamblers & Gangsters is worth reading.

I had read the book and my brother wanted one. It is a very interesting book on the history of Jacksboro Highway and the gamblers and joints. I grew up in Fort Worth around Jacksboro so it was interesting to me.
