Gallop and Ride? Not really...

I have ridden horses since I was 3yrs old. This is not like riding a real horse. The controls are not as automatic as when you ride a real horse, it is REALLY? poorly designed to emulate that experience, the grooming "game" is ABSURD, the "trust meter" is NOT realistic. School horses are FAR more forgiving than computer horses, it's a ridiculous parameter. YES, horses have to trust you, and you usually have to do something stupid and mean to make a good, kind school pony develop a fear of you as a human. This program does not emulate the REAL thing that attracts humans to horses, the bond that we have developed with them over thousands of years. For pete's sake, get a HORSE PERSON to REALLY help create something like this, if you can.
And make the task more obvious, put a sign up. I went around for FIVE minutes trying to figure out how to set down a blasted BUCKET for crying out loud.
The only fun thing was cantering around without not needing to make sure there weren't a lot of gopher holes in that pasture. (Gopher holes are tricky, the horse can sort of "trip" if it unexpectedly lands in one while cantering)
I'm sorry, but playing this program was a BIG disappointment.
This review was JUST about the game, the seller was FINE, and the condition was great, the transaction was not a problem.
