I love this book! Very cool the way the scanimation makes the pictures look like they are really moving! Excellent book for children. Big bold words. Nice sturdy pages. Looking forward to finding more that are like this book!

) This is a very cute book. The animals look like they are actually moving as soon as you open each page. My granddaughters will love the action of the moving animals. The words are large and clear to read, especially for us grandparents. Nice book, nice stories for each animal.

) I bought this book for my 10 month old baby and we love it!!! the animals really move!!!! my baby is amazed by how they move, she want's to touch them all the time... I think it would be better if it was bigger though, but still very good book!!!

Good book for infantsGallop! is described as a scanimation book, which is kind of accurate. More than that, each animal picture moves. There aren't too many words per page. I saw this book at Babies 'R Us and it looked extremely cool, just didn't like the new price. I read it to my 6-month old and he grabs at the pages, staring at the moving animals. I decided to buy it b/c I haven't seen a lot of EXCELLENT books like this for infants.

Amazing BookWe recieved this book as a gift and my twins who are three just loved it so we decided to take it to daycare to share with the other children. They loved it too and spent an entire hour reading this book because all of the kids insisted doing the motion displayed in the book. It catches their attention with its swift, fluid movement and allows for fun interaction that gets the kids up and moving. I'm a fan and now give this book as a gift to everyone with children.

My granddaughter is 19 months old and she loves the book. She turns the pages and she sees the different animals as they move which is very interesting to her. I will buy this book again for any child that I need to buy a gift for.

This book captures movement in a way that is magical! LOVE the visual effects.
Definitely worth it... but be forewarned the story and wording isn't of the same caliber as the visuals!
Why they call a monkey a chimp - I can't figure out! *wink*

) This is the most amazing baby book ever! Something totally different than the usual touchy feely board book (although some of those are great, too!) I purchased one for my newest nephew, but I'm going to get another one for my friend's preschool, and one for myself (I work for Parents As Teachers).
9 different black and white images appear to move because of the way the book is made. My husband actually thought at first there was some kind of electronic movement because the images really appear to be animated. Beautiful sillhouettes, plus there are also catchy rhymes. I will use my book for a tie in for gross motor skills (can you gallop? can you jump?)
If Rufus Butler Seder does another scanimation book, I will buy it sight unseen, that's how great this book is!
