I can't say that there is anything to dislike about Robin Schone's novels or stories. She is excellent at pacing the story, and her descriptions are vivid.
This author is brilliant and her approach to erotic romantic fiction is new, fresh and unique. Her characters are mature w/out being 'old', sexy without being crass, and strong without being irritating or annoying. I decided to buy her book after reading other works by her in anthologies. I've since then read other novels by her and this one is at the top.

Great Story

This book is a continuation of the story begun in The Lover. The focus is now on Gabriel, friend of Michael from The Lover. They are both battling the evil from an enemy of the past who threatens to destroy them and the women they have become involved with. I found Robin Schone's work very unusal, very erotic, very captivating...at least at first. The writing flow is kind of stop action...like "see spot"..."see spot run"..."see spot run fast". It was interesting the first time, kind of annoying the next. Nevertheless, the story is great, brutal at times but a satisfying sequel to the previous novel.

Read in high school and just picked it up. Sure it will be a great read as it was then. Robin Schone is a great author and has been writing for many years.
