GPX PD808BU 8 in. Portable DVD Player

I bought this DVD player for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. The DVD player is less than a year old according to the manufacture date. It played great when it worked. My daughter was 30 minutes into her 1st movie and the sound went out on it completely. No sound output whatsoever. Tried the headphone jack even, nothing. I got online and reasearched this brand and a common problem people have with it is that the sound card goes bad in them relatively not long after you have it. I bought the DVD player for $40 used, but I didn't do my homework on it first.

This product works great!!! Our granddaughter love it and we had a peaceful 20 hour drive on our last trip.

Love the clear picture and is easy to use very glad I purchased it.
Just wish the volume would go louder though, if anyone talks you sometimes
miss what was said on the DVD. But that would not make me give it up.

I love it and i use it all the time.It was in very good condition and a very pretty color.i was so surprised how well a used personal dvd player worked and i'm very happy i bought it!

I purchased a NEW dvd portable player. Today I got in a dvd player that looked like it had been abused, was not even the right model. The dvd player has sticky stuff all over it and the accessories were just thrown in the box. I have sent the seller an email, as the phone number listed is not in service anymore, asking them to correct the problem and to send me the new dvd player that I asked for. I will change my review if the seller takes care of thimess but until then "BUYER BEWARE!!!".

The unit was a piece of junk and the seller knew this. It did not operate would have never operated, and in all honesty if they had any back bone they would return my money.

So far, this DVD player is working well. I haven't owned it very long. I had read some reviews about this player that weren't favorable but decided to buy one and try it. The price was right. Right now, my grand-daughter is enjoying watching a DVD. Ask me in 6 months to a year from now and I'll know better about it's performance.

Fair auction!!! It was quite nerveracking having to bid back and forth- I wonder if the sellers have duplicate accounts in order to be able to make bidders go higher? Just a thought-I do like the item, will have a more clear opinion upon arrival-

I like everything about the GPX PD808BU portable DVD player I bought. The thing I love the best about this DVD player is that the battery is part of the DVD player so you never have to worry about losing the battery; also the battery has a long life.

Worked just long enough, to get past the time that I could not return it. Worked pretty good at first, now the picture goes out all the time, and you can't move it at all without loosing the picture. Very disappointed in this item.

LIKED THE PRICE ...I DID CHARGE IT UP AND IT WORKED ,BUT SAVING IT FOR MY GRANDSON FOR CHRISTMAS...SO HAVEN'T REALLY BEEN USING IT...SO FAR SO GOOD....

I was looking for a DVD player the grand kids could use in any room when they are visiting. The nice thing about this 8 in. is they can be in the room with me and not back in another room. Great service also. Thanks

I love this for wh I go down fo a visit my handicap odaughter when staying in the motel we take this to play her favorite movies fo her wo watch.Love the color it has.I couldafford this one for my daughter.My daughter has specil kshows she loves to watch when she gets bored in the motel thi isreally handy or her.

I like the portable DVD player, because my daughter can watch her movies will we are on a long drive. I decide to buy it because of the price and size. After recieving the portable DVD player, I went out and bought a case for it, and it is nice, because it can be put on the back of any seat fast. However in the future I will have one built into my vehicle for the two girls of mine to enjoy.

The player had to be dismantled shortly after receiving from seller to be soldered so that the charging port could be fixed. Also, two weeks after use, the LCD screen lost picture and still doesn't work properly. If bought new, this item looks very spiffy and probably would work fine; although not knowing the sellers care of the item prior to selling, I cannot state whether I would recommend this item or not.

I like the fact that it has a built in battery Plus it has an usb port and also I like the the memory port also I like that the volume control can be ajusted with the remote
