GHD fakes made believable-deals too good to be true lie

I got stung three times, buying, without reading any reviews for GHD straighteners. At over 100.00 each I will have to figure a way to make up for the fakes I bought. Next time I will buy from an approved dealer with warranty coverage. These pull my hair not glide like the real ones. Thank the people that have shown the flaws of the copies so you wont fall for the hologram scam. I sold one to a friend before I new it was fake. I feel so bad. What do I say? I really wish my Christmas gift was the real thing. My daughters knew how excited I was to get a new flat iron that the gave me the money for it and I waited till Christmas to open it. One of my daughters looked at it and said "mom your not going to like this, it is not flush and it pulls." I was in denial thinking... no way could this be a copy it looks so real. I didn,t know about the reviews and I dont know if I can do anything with my dissatisfied purchases. Would anyone have any ideas?
