GALAXY Microsystems DX-949 40-Channels Base CB Radio

I use this radio every day in my mini-van. It is a good solid radio. It has a lot of useful features without overloading. All controls are easy to find in the dark or if you place it in a spot that is hard to see. I have mine mounted along side of my seat so it is hard to see while driving yet I know where the controls are so I can make adjustments with having to look at it. I always get good reports from people. So if you want a good rugged radio this is it.

Not only are they Great Rigs on the road, but sealed properly, I use them in my boats also! They get out when 25 watts on VHF will not! Plus another advantage is, when the "Fishing is Slow", you can always shoot a little skip!! Great Rigs, on the road, or aboard ship!

this is one bad ass radio , the power rating is 4 watts that is way off . I am using a willson 5000 and I am getting 15 watts dead key and 23 watts swing , this radio has had on mods. hope this helps you

It is rated above my Cobra CB. This product works very well and is an excellent radio. Clearity in reception and transmission.

Its everything he wanted and it works great. He made a consol for his dodge sprinter and it fits perfit where he wanted it. In fact it is better than what he though Thanks.

I have enjoyed CB radio's for over 40 years when I saw this CB it was what I had been looking for. This particular CB would match the styling of my pick up truck black and chrome . Besides being stylish it is a very well functioning CB . I seem to always get a response when I transmit. I know Galaxy makes a good product ,I am very pleased with my purchase.

Really great turn around time on the seller. The radio works great. My husband has had it tweaked and tuned and it is in our big truck and he is able to reach out 10 miles.
