GALAXY Microsystems DX-2547 40-Channels Base CB Radio

after several cb base radio's this one has quenched my needs for now. It has received good reports of clear audio, and work's well with my equipment. It has all the functions I need in a radio, and take's half the space. I would by another one as i do have 3 stations set up aat this time.

This is a great radio has alot of features found with high end radios.
Has a very impressive appearence. A lot of radio for for a small price.
Galaxy really did it when they came out with the new look and technology
when they came out with this one. There is alot you can do with it. I hooked it up right away and was using it locally and getting great reports.

Great radio.Lots you can do to this radio cheep.Has the boar found in the high buck RCI radios.Bought mine used and have put alot of hours on it.For the money I would recomend this to anyone.

I am very happy with the new Galaxy radio that I purchased on Ebay from electronicscheapo. The radio was talking large right out of the box! I have been talking DX (long distance)all over the east and southeast portion of the USA. My station is located about 30-miles southwest of Chicago and my call numbers are MDS-323. The farthest trip I have been able to make so far was over 900 miles from my base, down to Clearwater, Florida. This is a fantastic radio that is built with the quality and appearance of a high end amateur radio. I am very pleased with the construction, features and overall performance of this radio. I would highly recommend this radio for anybody who is serious about talking on AM or Side Band. This radio is totally upgradeable and puts out more than the FCC legal power limits right out of the box. I actually had to turn mine down and make some adjustments but they were very easy to do. With the owners manual and expanded circuit diagrams that Galaxy provides, it is a breeze for even a novice to adjust and customize. My recommendation: Buy it, you'll love it! If anybody wants to try and contact me "On-Air" you can set your dial to channel 38. I am usually on the lower side band (LSB). Call me MDS-323 on 27.385Mhz LSB and lets QSO. 73's to all the operators out there and I hope top hear you on the air. I am usually monitoring/broadcasting after 11PM CST on weekends and weekdays between 10AM & 2PM depending on conditions.

Hobbie purchase. Good radio for the price. Allows for easy modification for stronger output or more frequencies.

Just purchased this CB Base Station radio; Item is of exceptional quality, has all the required adjusting knobs, the built-in SWR meter is very nice to have- along with the Modulation & Power meter ( All in one ). The size is perfect for a desk. I am enjoying mine everyday.

A GOOD RADIO I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH IT WHEN IT WORKS. I DONT KNOW IF ITS THE RADIO OR THE SELLER BUT I JUST THREW MINE IN THE TRASH AFTER 4 DAYS OF HAVING IT??? AGAIN IT WORKED GREAT WHEN IT WORKED....
