this is another direct to dvd movie about earths gas prices being so high and planet express goes to the source looking for more fuel. also benders gets sent to an insane asylum and enters a world of dungeons and dragons. i really like this movie. totally funny with the crew coming back as always. if you want something to laugh about this is the movie to get. also if you are a futurama fan like myself and my nephew this is also worth the time to pick it up and laugh out loud.

  Excellent start, poor finish
Review created: 10/04/09

Being a fan of Futurama, I was sad to see it cancelled from tv. My hope rested in their ability to make these feature legnth movies. This one left me dissappointed.

The first half of it was freaking hilarious! I laughed so hard tears were streaming from eyes. As soon as the movie changed into a depiction of "Lord of the Rings", it was absolutely STUPID. It was literally painful to watch.

  Awesome movie, bad packaging

Super nerd movie for super nerds. The flimsy cardboard container is not something I'm a fan of unfortunatly. It would not stand the test of time and wear and tear in a normal household of non anal retentive movie collectors

  Great Film for Futurama Fans!
Review created: 05/10/09

Fans of the TV show (and previous movies) will enjoy this film.

It's also got plenty of laughs for people who aren't necessarily fans of the show.

I bought the movie and got plenty of laughs as well as a nice continuation of some of the character's stories from the original TV show. Futurama writers have a nice way of creating story lines for characters that make you want to go back and watch all 4 seasons and previous movies again. The commentary is also very entertaining.

The packaging also has some cool collectibles.

I think this movie is a lot better than the previous Futurama movie The Beast with a Billion Backs.

I love Futurama, and I'm glad to see it keep getting better and better!

  Funny Funny Movie
Review created: 02/14/09

This movie does bring back some of the classic laughs that we all know, love, and expect from Futurama. The only thing I did not care for was the more explicit sexual innuendos in this feature. I was watching it with a 6-year-old, a 10-year-old, and an 11-year-old youngster. I didn't really like having to explain some of the content. Other than that, funny as all get out!!!

Bender's Game is a new Futurama movie that was released in 2008.

The first hour or so of the movie is not that bad. You get all of the standard Futurama characters showing up and having a good time. However, the whole story flip into Bender's imagination is very boring. A true knock off of the Lord of the Rings.

Good News: Once More into the Breech, Faithful Crew!
Review created: 11/10/08

Time-traveling thieving Bender? Check!

Pervert extradimensional space monster? Check!

Dungeons and Dragons send up? As bureaucrat Hermes Conrad would say, "That's a big check."

In the latest direct-to-DVD installment of the Futurama saga, the crew of Planet Express finds themselves transported to a Lord-of-the-Rings-esque universe, where Bender is a shiny-assed nobleman and Mom — who else? — is the ultimate villain.

With surprisingly relevant send-ups of the country's dependence on foreign oil — not to mention a certain politician who compared herself to a bulldog with lipstick — "Bender's Game" hits all the right bases for Futurama fans and cartoon comedy aficionados alike.
