Funny Money (DVD, 2007)

Overall, this movie is really fun to watch. Chevy Chase works as a consultant in a factory that makes wax fruit. His life is boring and unfulfilling until he accidentally switches briefcases with a man on the subway. He finds $5 million dollars in the briefcase and although he realizes it is probably connected to criminal activity he decides to keep it and avoid retribution by leaving the country with his wife IMMEDIATELY. The problem is that his wife doesn't want to go. She ends up telling some friends whom they had invited for dinner that evening about the money and hilarity ensues as more and more people become involved in the scheme to help Chase keep the money.

The pace of this movie is very HECTIC (it literally made my hair stand on end in several places). It absolutely requires your FULL ATTENTION, especially in the first 20 minutes, or so. Otherwise you could EASILY become lost and not know WHAT THE HECK is going on. Even so, it has a GREAT ending- definitely worth sticking it out to the end.

Now, while being lazy on a Sunday afternoon, I decided to bring my laptop to my bed to work on Ebay and at the same time watch this movie starring Chevy Chase. This movie was so funny that I had to keep rewinding it to watch missed scenes and finally decided to stop the ebay business and just concentrate on "Funny Money". Lots of jokes made by all of the characters kept me laughing the whole way through. Well worth the rental fees to see this one!
