I loved the movie so I was looking for a copy of one. This one looked good because the seller had alot of positive feedback and lived in the USA. My judgment was good. I haven't played the movie yet, but I'm sure it's fine. It's unopened as stated in the auction. Great trusty seller!!

This is just another excellent movie in which Chevy Chase starred in. I would say my second favorite with him. Its different than most same ol same ol christmas movies. At times it will have you in stitches. We have probably seen it no less than 6 to 8 times over the years. You cant go wrong with this jewel!

For anyone who loves Chevy Chase movies, this is a great one. It is actually my favorite, second only to Christmas Vacation. I actually bought this for friends of ours who live in Kentucky. While visiting them, we went out to lunch and were laughing when we saw "lamb fries" on the menu. It got us talking about this movie. The waitress started talking with us, too, saying how much she liked the movie. Once you see it, you will get the joke about the "lamb fries". While in Kentucky, we tried to find the movie, but couldn't, so as soon as I got back home I bought it on ebay for my friends. It is one of those timeless comedies, especially good around Christmas, but you can watch it anytime. Enjoy!

One of the best movies ever. Chevy Chase is so funny and catches a hard time in this one. Chevy chase moves his wife to the country cause they are sick of city life and he wants to write and be more creative, but the townsfolk leaves much to be desired. And he has alot of mishaps and trouble brews at home when his wife becomes an author as well. Truely chevy chase style, lots of laughs and originality. You realize what's important in life once you sit back and take notice of your surroundings and those you hold dear. Great Movie.

It's a good and entertaining movie. Is not the funniest movie but it has it's moments. For me is a classic and it took me back in time. Is clean and as I said entertaining.

Its just plain FUNNY ! Recommend for the whole family . The ducks , the crazy mailman and the tweety bird who was once loved by Chevy gets a cup of coffee thrown at her . Really is funny stuff .

It is a HOOT! The movie is a classic and one of the best kept secrets. You will laugh all the way through it. We have watched it at least 20 times and it still cracks us up!

to me this movie just defines funny. I am a big Chevy Chase fan and to me this movie always brings me back to my childhood. Very funny, as he tries to fit in with the country folks, yet everything goes wrong for him. Love it.

Having recently moved to a small town it was reccomended that we watch this again. My wife laughed more than I did and it is a cute movie.

I love the mindless entertainment of this movie! I have seen it recently on television and decided to look on Ebay because I wanted to watch it without commercials. Also, Ebay has the best prices, by far!

Chevy, a writer with "writer's block," takes his wife, expertly played by Madolyn Smith, from the city out to the countryside, in the hopes that the change of scene will inspire him to write again. Ironically, it doesn't help him, but it inspires his wife, a fledgling writer. One wonders how he ever sold a book when you hear a sampling of his work. Her writing takes off as she writes about him, their married life, and their country-folk friends, in the guise of animal characters. Their marriage gets a well-needed wake-up call as does the seemingly cold-hearted town. It ends on a happy note which most Chevy Chase movies do. A must-see,must-have movie!
