Movie Description The second film (fitting between THE IPCRESS FILE and THE BILLION DOLLAR BRAIN) starring Michael Caine as Len Deighton's super spy Harry Palmer is characterized by lush photography and smooth period style. In this outing, Palmer, choosing to spy for the Queen in place of doing time in prison, is sent to Berlin to assist Soviet Colonel Stok (Oscar Homolka), the head of security for the Berlin Wall who wishes to defect to the West. Palmer arranges for Stok to cross the border in a coffin, but things unfortunately don't go as planned.
