Fundraising With eBay by Greg Holden, Jill Finlayson (2005)
A must read if you are a charity, or a regular ebay seller looking to increase your sales as part of a giving program.
The book is loaded with case studies, tips, and examples of successful fundraising programs used by groups throughout the country.
It also looks at product sourcing for charities. Say you don't have anything to sell - Consider one of a kind experiences. Lunch with a local CEO, or author, A chance to break a window in the old school or church being torn down. A signed team ball or Jersey from the local high school, college, or minor league team.
But don't stop there - publicize it with the local media, and get traffic moving to your auction.
Ever wonder how your church or school can sign up with Mission Fish, and start benefiting from member sales. Here is all of the info you need to get started.
Have you seen the ebay promo's for charity auctions. The book tells you how to sign up for promotion on the ebay home page. How cool is that.
Not sure you want to do it yourself. Read the info on working with a professional trading assistant.
Maybe you don't have a charity, but want to increase your own ebay sales while helping out your own favorite charity. You will find info on that here too.
Use it to grow your sales, and increase your charitable giving or donations.
