4th edition offers ocean info. Very depth book but already a review says the book is the same as the revised edition.
Anatomy of a beach was very interesting, environmental issues, estuaries and coast lines are covered in book. Tidal day, spring tides, diurnal tides, standing waves, the surf zone, tsunamis, Indian Ocean and other oceans.
Intense ocean storms and the atmosphere are tearing apart the composition of our oceans creating a change in climate. How can we study and understand? Wow, Ions in the oceans will show how over time concentration can decrease or increase nutrients in seawater which supports life and our very own existence.
Book has color photos graphs and scientific reasoning. Fundamentals of Oceanography will open your mind with easy learning agenda. I always like to read the books I sell here at ebay. Sometimes I do random reading. This book is 5*****.
If you’re leaning toward careers in oceanography this book will get you started. You don’t necessarily have to be going to college to read this book.

I bought it for a general depth class on campus and it seems to be working great even though the newest edition was the required text.
