Fundamentals of Building Construction by Edward Allen, Joseph Iano (2003, Hardcover)

This is a book packed with a lot of hands on practice in construction, examples of means and methods. Excellent illustrations and details, that are important to architecture students.

This book is a long, comprehensive look at the broad range of materials and methods used in construction projects. With what must be thousands of photos and diagrams, the broad concepts and specific techniques are thoroughly illustrated and made easier to understand. I would highly recommend this book for anyone in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction fields, as well as anyone sitting for the Architect Registration Exam.

I never got the book at any point. I know the address was prefect because i recieved four other books with the same address. I also never recieved any contact from the party.

The book is really complete, the graphics teach a lot about the building process and its components.
The chapters are divided by topic and it is a complete guidance for any architectural project you have in mind. I recommend the book to anyone who wants to learn the complete process of construction.

It was a text book and I was required to buy it. It's gotten me through the class, so I can't complain, but long chapters and 60 vocab words devoted to cement and masonry gets a little much...

good price and the book was in better condition than i could have imagined. the cover edges were not harmed at all. their were no markings on any of the pages. the book came with a receipt, along with a study guide to review each chapter. the study guide has also helped me with my tests. overall the book has a great resale value which will benefit me in the end.

I bought this book for class, and i'm sure I'll keep it as a reference to building systems because of the "easy to read" format and tables.
