The Fuller Brush Man with Red Skelton
My siblings and I watched this when we were kids and it was always a favorite and good for a laugh. Of course, Red Skelton was a well-known comedian when I was a kid. It is an old film but there is enough slapstick comedy that the kids really enjoy it and ours couldn't help but laugh out loud at some of the antics. Red is a bumbling boyfriend who loses every job he has had so his girl helps him get a job with her company, Fuller Brush. The man she asks to train him really wants her so he sabotages Red's attempts. Of course, he succeeds, kind of, by selling some brushes but then forgets the payment and paperwork so he must return to the house where a former irate boss lives to get them from the wife. The former boss is murdered and the ridiculous antics continue. No extreme blood or violence and the good guy get the girl.
