Okay so.... I love this series. Though not as in-depth as Fruits Basket (there are far fewer volumes) I was surprised at the character development of this series. Fruits Basket is still the superior, but I've read many manga series and this is definitly one of the better.
Love, hate - motives and shocks, this series has everything. At first glance it's one-dimensional. Young girl wants to become a singer to get the attention of the person she loves. But once you read a few volumes you see that the story goes so far beyond that. Everyone is suffering from inner demons. I suppose that's why I'm reminded of Fruits Basket - no one is perfect. No one. Plus... Takuto reminds me of Kyo a little. Haha.
