I bought it because of the 10x optical zoom. I like the easy to use functionality. It has many features that are very easy to use. For example one mode setting it takes two pictures, one with flash and one without. This is automatic. It is a well designed camera.

) Camera works just fine, I got it for my mother because she is not too great with electronics, and even she takes great photographs with it. I wish it would have rechargeable batteries but still, get yourself some and enjoy the camera. Functions are adequate but not the best, but it is not too bulky and it looks pretty good.

) Yhis Fuji s700 is the eleventh one purchased. Perfect for my newspaper and yearbook work. Fantastic 22x zoom with stabilization, two custom settings, video capable and super macro to less than 1 inch. Has more settings; auto flash/noflash simultaneously, sports and portrait settings etc. lightweight with a totally enclosed lens system.
It has replaced my stable of Nikon film and digital cameras.
