Fujifilm FinePix A205 2.0 Megapixel Good for the Money

All in all, I take a LOT of 'bottle' pictures, selling old bottles on ebay as I do. I've used this model for almost four years, without a problem. Takes great shots and the close-up feature has AWESOME resolution. I dropped this when it was brand new, and after that the a/c adaptor wouldn't work, so I've been running from batteries for years. This is the type of model, you want to upload with a cord, and NOT remove the memory card unless it's absolutely necessary, as the 'wear' on the memory card will cause the flimsy little things to malfunction in very short order. It does have a rough time with amber and brown bottles, throws too much red in the tint, but I've never seen a digital, used with a flash that didn't. You always want to use the flash on this type of camera, the shutter speed is too slow without it. A tripod solves this, but without one, the pix will be blurry. All said and done, considering the fact I've taken at least 15 thousand pictures with this, balanced against what I spent, I'd say this camera is a step above anything else in the price range.
