Fujifilm FinePix 1300 1.3 Megapixel

Very simple to use, great little camera for the money...perfect for taking photos for my ebay sale items. I bought this item because it was a good camera for the price. this saves my more expensive camera for more important photos...cuts down on the wear & use. would recommend it!

it is blurry all the time because the lens is not protected by a cover. so it looks like its snowing all the time because lint and dust gets into the lens too easily.

I love Fuji cameras, We are buying 11 of them for our grandchildren for Christmas this year. I have used Fuji for 10 years now and on my second 1 the 2600 Zoom at this time

I first got one of these back in 2000 as a free giveaway from Staples with the purchase of Windows or Office. At the time it was a state of the art camera.

By all of today's standards it's hopelessly obsolete and you would think it was junk. BUT NO!, it's not. This is a GREAT camera for quick, no-muss, no-fuss E-Bay pictures and quick photos you just want to E-Mail to someone. Ok, no zoom and it's only 1.3 Megapixels (although it is a VERY, VERY GOOD 1.3MP ... comparable in overall quality to many 2MP and even some 3MP cameras). But you can take the photo and be done in 30 seconds, it's small, compact, and it's ridiculoulsly easy to use (it has almost no settings or adjustments), it just does the basic picture taking job and you are done. It does it well, no muss, no fuss, done in a flash.

There is one huge drawback: It uses SmartMedia cards, which are no longer made, which can be expensive to buy (even used) and which a lot of the newer card readers won't read (it also has a USB port assuming that you have the USB cable).

Buy one? These are available for under $10. If you get one at that price, if it comes with a memory card and cable, it can be a good deal. However, about $10 (plus shipping) is about all that it is worth.

I owned and used the Fujifilm FinePix 1300 digital camera for more than 6 years. The photos were superb for a low-end camera (although it wasn't so low-end when I bought it in 2000). This camera makes transferring your photos to your computer super-easy, and with the wizard built in to XP, you should be able to bypass the Fujifilm software completely.

Today's cameras are available with MUCH more than 1.3 megapixels and, if your budget allows, there are definitely good reasons to buy "more" camera than this. But keep in mind that the web (and e-mail) can only "read" 72dpi, which most digital cameras can produce (the early kiddy cameras may be an exception here), so if ALL you ever plan to do with your images is share them via email or post them to a web site or blog, this camera will do the job and then some! I did have a few photos printed from time to time at the kiosks and they were just as clear as photos taken with my 35mm (which I haven't used in more than 7 years now!).

In closing, I give the FujiFilm FinePix 1300 TWO thumbs-up!

i do not love it at all.it takes horrible pictures,the batteries drain with in hours and the memory cards dont work well either.The only reason i bought this one was do to the price.

This was a great experience on Ebay! I shopped, I bid, I won, it was delivered timely and we enjoy using the camera.

This cameral for me has been truly wonderful. I have been a rock climber for years now, and the camera has gone with me everywhere. Now, i've become a photographer and have gone to a much higher megapixel. I do realize a quality for this camera would benefit and be PERFECT for the sales profecssional. If you are a person that has to photo displays, or whatever you do, and send it back to "home office", this is the type of camera you need.
