The ONLY complaint I have is that its large size (width) makes it hard to plug into some ports. But for the price I paid, I'm completely satisfied. You install the software Then when it Tells you you plug in the USB cord from the Card Reader and it is Up Up and Away. Leaps tall buildings at a single bound. Is it a bird is it a plane No it is a Media Card Reader on a USB Port. I bought the Camera on Sale at Best Buy 6years Ago. It was a spur of the moment deal. I needed a small digital camera and not every cell Phone in the world had one at that time. The FUJI FinePix 2650 with 2 mega Pixel seemed like it should work. It only cam with 64 megs of Memory in a small XD Card I could take 5 times as many photos with it as with film. but hey we want it all don't we. So I bought a new 128 meg Card and then a second and then a third and you know the story The more I bought the more I wanted. Thing is to be able to look at these cards I needed a card reader so in Come FUJI to the Rescue. It would down load from the card to my computer about 10times faster than it would from the camera. The it would reformat the Card and bim boom bang I was ready to do it all over again. How you like them Apples Charlie Brown.I have less than a hundred dollars tied up in this camera. It still does a great job. I throw it in the car or gun case to take with us every time we head for the field. This camera is very similar to the Olympus Camera of the same size and type. Even though this reader has not worked on other camera's and their cards although they are the same style. It remains to be seen if they will work on closer styles of camera. I have XD Cards for My Olympus eVolt 500 and it will not work with them who knows which ones it will work with. Like I said the Reader is 10X faster and that would sure be nice when You have over a hundred photos per card to down load. Again it is us and just not wanting to wait for anything. Hey remember when it took "ONLY " and hour to get our photos back from Ritz Camera. What spins dray Review ID: 10000000003667313 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
