I like how the chapters in the book are sorted and details in each battle. The air war chapter is among one of the most descriptive in war books. Among them, are the way in which the Finnish soldiers isolated the Red Army in mottis and let them starve to death in spite of being so outnumbered by the Red Army troops. This book states that motti tactics, such as the ones implemented at Suomussalmi, are still being taught at West Point. This was how the Finns were able to annihilate between 25,000 to 28,000 soldiers at the cost of 450 Finns
