Frontline - Is Wal-Mart Good for America? (DVD, 2005)

I caught this on public television and I wanted to share this with others. People just don’t realize how much Walmart manipulates markets, economies and wages, not just here but worldwide. It is breaking the back of the working class in the U.S. and too many people only see what they think are cheaper prices, but at what cost? I am afraid that this is only the tip of the iceberg. It shows just a few strategies they use and the ruthlessness of their dealings with suppliers. The fact that they can afford to ignore fair trade by trying to flood markets with cheap products to drive jobs out of this country and replace them with non -skilled jobs without benefits. With the hits that this country's working class is taking right now, it seems even more important to take a stand now!
