While it isn't as small as some of the others, it is powerful, loud, easy to use, rugged and a bargain. I bought it one a year ago and used it daily with a 1GB Kingston Flash Card. I dropped it countless times (during home construction) and it keeps going and going. It has 2 AA Batteries which is also great. The headset is weird looking but sounds great, nevertheless I replaced it with Panasonic ear buds. Emailed the customer service once and they responded within hours and emailed a new firm ware. I absolutely love this player. (I had several other MP3 Players in the past, also " I-name brands" but this one is my absolute favorite.
