Fright Night Pt. 2 (DVD, 2003)

This is a great sequel to the original, starts out slow but in time makes a great comeback to be just as dramatic as the first. Missed Amanda Bearse from the first.

I recently bought Fright Night Part II and it definitely lived up to the price. I realize I did spend a lot of money on the movie itself, but this movie is a "Cult Classic". There is a great story line for its time and it impressed me so much I believed I got my money's worth. If ever a conversation comes up about horror movies, I always ask if they've seen Fright Night Part II. Now, unless you are old enough to have seen it when the DVD wasn't worth $200 or more, most people say "no". And I get to say, "you need to see it" in conjunction with: "I HAVE IT!" and it is a great feeling. I am just not willing to let them borrow it out of my sight!:D I recommend this movie for a big surprise to all avid movie lovers to add to their collection.

This is a childhood favorite of mine. Fright night part 2 I think was alot cooler than part 1 in that it really lets us have it with special effects and 80's fashion. I had a major crush on the lead vampire, all these years later I still think she's fine. Good scares, funny moments, and awesome vampires make this movie one for your collection.

Alright, a sequel to Fright Night would seem like a good idea, and had it been tackled properly, it could have been great, instead you get a rehash of the original, with a small gang of vampires, including a werewolf-esque thug, a rollerskating crossdresser and others, led by Jerry Dandridge's... sister? Families ties don't work well when you're immortal and evil. Plus Charlie seems to have been convinced that the events of the original never happened... so in the end you're really only rooting for Roddy McDowall. Definately weaker than the first, but it was good to see the cast again.

IF YOU LOVE THE CLASSIC FIRST, THE SECOND IS NOT AS SCARY BUT IS STILL A GREAT MOVIE! IT IS ALSO VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND, AT LEAST AT A CHEAP PRICE. I COLLECT HORRORS, AND IF YOU DO TO, IT IS AN AWESOME MOVIE FOR YOUR COLLECTION, SO GET IT WHY IT'S HERE, ONE DAY WE WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN!!

Not a scratch. DVD is in mint condition along with the case and inside advertisement. I would deffenitly buy from this seller again.

This was a gift for a friend that has looked for the movie for a long time. He said it reminded him of his teenage years. The joy it brought them was well worth the price. The movie is corny as heck but fun nonetheless. I mean a vampire on rollerskates is worth the price alone. Good looking 80s babes as well.

This is a MUST HAVE for vampire fans. This is one of the rare times where I think the sequal is better than the original (although it's very close). The lead vampire, Regine, is so sexy she even turns me on... and i'm gay.

Though not as good as the first film the sequel definitely is a classic in it's own right. With 2 of the original cast returning Fright Night 2 is a must see; especially if you are a fan of the first. The only complaint I have is that there isn't a special edition widescreen DVD released, which this classic deserves. I recommend everyone check out this awesome vampire classic. You won't be disappointed!
