Fried Green Tomatoes (VHS, 1992)

This is a wonderfully entertaining movie! It makes you laugh out loud, cry, jump for joy...you name it, it has it! Jessica Tandy and Kathy Bates are excellent together in this movie! Highly recommended! See it soon!

I have always loved this movie and just never gotten it. I ran across it when i was shopping one day. I really appreciate sellers like this one who ship merchandise out soon and in great condition. Thank again for you great service.

It's a classic. Great story, great acting, and great music. One of the best movies for ladies who are beginning to realize that age happens and interesting stories are in every era.

I love how it came in the box and it played perfectly. It was everything the person said it was gonna be. There's nothing that I dislike about it. My mom loves the movie and the person I bought it from had great detail about what I was gonna get.

i think this is the best movie ever. my best friend made me seat with her and wahch it with her. and after i watched it i thought it wuz the best country movie i ever saw.my favorite part in this movie wuz when at the end idjie whent back home to where she grew up. and she found out from the lady she met at the hospitle that they tore it down because it wuz really old. and the women and idjie found the grave that idjie's best friend wuz burried at and she saw that the honey she left there a long time a go wuz still there and she told her friend that she met at the hospitle that maby one day she will get to meet idjie. and she said maby you will tomarrow and the women she met at the hospitle asked idjie if she would like to come and live with her and she said at first no that this is my house and she told her what happend to her house and at the end she changed her mind. this is the best movie ever. oh yea and at the bigining the little boy named buddie that got killed by a train i thought he wuz cute.

I don't think that I disliked this movie at all it is one of my all time favorites! So much so that I purchased it on ebay because I never tire of wathching it. It has something for every woman and touches on the problem of going through the change of life and showing how women of all ages can form lifetime lasting frienships.

I have been looking for this for a while.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Having a huge southern family, I can relate alot to the characters lives and backgrounds. I love how the women stick together.

I bought Fried Green Tomatoes VHS for the elderly mother of a co worker, Because my co-workers mother is spunky like Cathy Bates is, in this movie. I already have my own persoanl copy of the movie and There was no way I was giving it away, so I knew just were to go to find another copy for this elderly lady.. EBAY!! I always find just what I am looking for when I shop EBAY. This is an awesome movie and the seller was great to work with. BTW, the elderly lady that received this movie was thrilled to have it. She loved it!!!

My very 1st purchase from EBAY. I guess I got excited . Thought it was a DVD...but VHS is okay.My fault. Arrived quickly and in very good condition.

This is one of those movies that are so full of content that one viewing doesn't reveal the full flavor of the story. There are parts that are endearing, terrifying, and some, just downright funny. "Fried Green Tomatoes" is a movie that shows me something else, each time I see it. Then, I realized that, like a good book, I ought to have it in my library. The VHS tape that I ordered suits my system, all things being equally obsolete, was in excellent condition.

I bought it because a smart friend who is a top of the line RN nurse told me I need to watch it and listen carefully to what the older woman tells the younger women about life and men... and how we women need to learn what works and what doesn't work (with men, such as, your husband). I have not watched it yet, due to shortage of time over the holidays, but I know I will benefit from what I shall soon learn that I need to know to strengthen myself!

I decided to buy this VHS movie because it is such an inspiring movie. When I read this seller had this movie for sale and they way they discribed it it caused me to yearn tio see the movie again. Then I decided to buy it and own it for myself. Everyone knows the place to get a real deal is Ebay.

I've been very disappointed. Did not receive this item. An e-mail was receive stating that I owed $3.96 and I tried followed the procedure to send the extra money. But in spite of my efforts, I didn't get it. Please try and help because I still want it. Thanks.

I absolutely love this movie! All performances are excellent, but I especially loved Kathy Bates, and Jessica Tandy was at her best (this is also special to me because this was probably her very last movie before her death - making it a true keepsake).

You have to see it, of course, to appreciate it, but the movie covers every aspect of life imaginable. It flows easily between the current, modern time and flashbacks to the 1930's south as Jessica Tandy tells the stories of her youth to bored housewife Kathy Bates - seeking some meaning to her life.

This movie has it all: drama, tragedy, inspiration, even comedy! It's the greatest and I am happy I found my copy on ebay.

my mom absolutely loves this movie. She thinks it is one of the best movies ever made. I just love the story line and the way it is set up as someone else telling the story. A must-see!!
