Friday the 13th: The Series (Season 2)

As an avid horror-lover, I enjoyed rediscovering just how good and unique each plot was for season two of the series. I've written horror fiction short tales of my own for over eight years, and truly great plots are hard to come by and communicate effectively.
For television, this series at times had surprisingly "strong" gore via special effects. But far more important was the unique quality of plotting. That and acting are the strength of the show.
I hope that season three soon becomes available!
Horror by itself leaves directors, writers, and actors little leeway. But as with all great horror-oriented works, Friday the 13th the Series explores and includes other elements of the human condition: love, greed, anger, revenge, etc. Those elements are the springboard to effective horror.
All facets of the show were well-executed.
Each episode usually ends with moral introspection upon some facet of the human condition leading to the horror that occurred...very quality entertainment, giving viewers something to take away an mull over.
We can only hope that another show like Friday the 13th the Series soon finds its way onto television.
