Jason once again makes the cut in this fifth installment in the series. This time young patients are the focus of his old tricks. Being secluded in a halfway house doesn't help matters as Jason way in his new meat market. If you saw the first four you will you'll like Friday the 13th Part V-- Anew beginning.

I have been working on fulfilling my collection of Friday the 13th on DVD and this is just the price I was looking to spend and the disc is in great condition. This will certainly scare the samm hill out of my little girls...This is classic. Thank you!

We bought this to extend our video library and begun to rebuild our library after 2 divorces.we have been able to collect most all of the Friday the 13th series, we have also added to our collection movies such as Saw, From Dusk to Dawn, Halloween (almost all of them) we are in addition adding Charmed and ER one series at a time. But its wonderful doing business with sellers such as this one who is interested in making a little money but mostly trying to insure that their customers are satisfied.

Ok so Part 4 ended with Jason being killed, so how is it that he is back in Part 5. well, I can't spoil the ending but let me say that this unnecessary movie should have been avoided. The gore is the only reason it gets this rating. Take that away and there's not much left...well, except for some colorful characters and the Pseudo Echo Song "His Eyes" rent at own risk.

So this is the 5th - do not expect greatness. Actually, do not expect greatness out of any of the installments. Still, I love bad/good horror movies from the 80's and Jason has a soft spot in my heart. Too bad he is not the killer in this one.
Movie starts with Tommy - Jason's latest killer on #4 - at a halfway house for disturbed teens. First thing I noticed - and you are meant to notice - is the array of possible weapons around the place. Now, my first thought was not "hey! Jason could use that!" but more like "ummm, I do not think I would be comfortable with all these knives, axes, pitchforks etc easily available to disturbed teens". But that's just me.
The formula stands - kids die, girls get naked, lots of running, lots of slashing. Good, dirty 80's horror fun! You know if you will buy this - do I have to say who my recommendation is for? Fine, 80's horror fans must get this dvd. C'mon you have to complete the collection - there are 10 Friday and 1 Freddy Vs Jason. Get collecting!
