Very lite dessert
Woods was one of my favorite writers as I have read all of his books. However, I note that the plot structure and story line are not as complex as earlier works. The story line is as straight as a clothes line with no clothes on it. There seem to be no sub plots and fresh characters to the genre are thinly fleshed out, serving only as pawns in what amounts to a quick, short tale. While I hunger for a full steak dinner, Woods serves up only a very light souffle.
Could it be that Woods has run out of ammunition and only has blanks left? Or, is it the fact that he is churning out these novels so fast that he has sacrificed his talent to making a a quick score?
