Excellent movie. The DVD was crystal clear. One of my favorite movies. I bought it because I wanted it in DVD format.

) Great movie and Oscar winner. Was hard to find in video stores to rent or even buy. Most other resources didn't carry the Oscar winner either. I found it on Ebay and bid and won it. I have a collection of Oscar movies started and Ebay has helped me find some of the very rare and out of print ones.
This is a great movie and if you are a Gene Hackman fan as I am and have been for years, you will love this one. He won the Oscar for Best Actor and was well deserved. This is an early Gene Hackman but still a great one.

The French Connection (2006, DVD)Not much to say about this movie except that it's EXCELLENT!
Hackman and Scheider are at their best. If you like crime drama with great chase scenes and interesting plot then this is the movie for you.

) I often don't agree with the Academy Award picks, and this is definitely one of them!!! Although I am a huge Gene Hackman fan, this movies was the pits!! One for the collection ONLY if you are a collector of the Academy Award winners.

I love this movie The French Connection, I am taking classes in school. My major is Criminal Justice, and I had to write a 5 page report on this movie. So I think The French Connection is the best movie that I have every seen and written about.
