Free, well if you buy it on ebay it wont be
Review created: 07/01/09(updated 07/17/09)

Really thought provoking book on the razors edge of our current day business economics. Can you profit as a business by giving something away? This book explains that a free based business plan is not a crazy idea, but a profitable one. Anyone who is working in the online world should give this a read as it explains how free could be the future focus of your business.

That being said the author takes more then his fair share of pot shots at everybody from unknown bloggers to nobel laureates. Anderson should hold back a bit of his geek piety stooping to squash what others write and say. Although his opinion are interesting, having to read it is a bit of a one-sided fight that seems a bit juvenile. With all the exposure he has (blogger, editor of Wired magazine, and author) it seems a bit strange that he feels the need to use the book to step on others.
