The Yes Album, Fragile and Close To The Edge. These three albums are YES!
Fragile is the second step, the first with Wakeman and a slightly different feel from the Yes Album. Roundabout and Long Distance Runaround are the stars here. I must admit I prefer The Yes Album and Close To The Edge but I had to have this to make my collection complete. When I say complete I'm only referring to these three albums. This was college music for me.

Thank you for voting. If your vote meets our wow...i haven't purchased an album that i can't stop listening to in a long long time. this and close to the edge are a pair of timeless, must-listen albums. chris squire and bill bruford are a brilliant rhythm section, jon anderson has a unique, beautiful voice, and steve howe and rick wakeman create masterful melodies and gigantic walls of sound. this is a well constructed, well produced progressive masterpiece.
