Another Good Foxfire Book!

I have all the other vols. 1-11 and needed this one to finish the set.
A very good source of information for those who want to know how people lived thru and made their living in the early 1900's thru 2004's.
I like to read about others having to make do on what they have and learning to survive in troubled times. These books are doing just that, passing on the information that the people they interviewed shared and their happiness and their sadness throughout their lives in a rural community.
They tell you how to pick the foods that Mother Nature has provided and then tells you how to prepare it for your family. They tell you how to dance, dig wells, or drive a Model-T Ford.
If you ever had Grandparents who couldn't or wouldn't pass on this kind of information then these are the books to have, to learn all about living on nothing and living hard but learning to survive and learning to enjoy what you have.
These books will have information on just about any kind of living, whether it is hard, living or easy, but mostly about how to live and love thru you life, and be able to pass on the information to your family thru your years on earth too.
They tell you how to teach your children well, teaching them manners, teaching them to read, write, and to sew, hoe, or plant.
They teach you about astrology, planting your garden by the moon and its signs.
You won't go wrong if you are buying this book or any of the series of Foxfire books if you are looking to learn something about the past, and how to adapt it to your present.
