Four Rooms (DVD, 1999)

This is one of my favorite movies ever! It's an anthology of four short films taking place in an LA hotel one New Years Eve. The "four rooms" are each directed a different person, with the last room directed by Tarentino. Also, the film uses very cool, distinctive and thematically appropriate music by Combustible Edison.

i love this movie, and had seen it years ago and forgotten about it. i was wracking my brain trying to remember the title for my husband when i decided to to to my EBAY account. from there i just simply went to the "advanced search" option and typed in "quentin rooms movie" and poof there was a listing of available movies and books for this title. having been unable to locate this movie locally we were thrilled to be able to purchase it here. item was shipped swiftly and in unopened condition.

this movie captures the true essence of Quentin Tarrantino in my eyes. the amount of celebrities, dry humor, under-tone second meanings to things, you just can't go wrong. great for an evening in with wine and a fire and humorous enough to sustain a room full of people who you are entertaining.

though it is clearly a movie for adults and not children, you won't be disappointed with the plot(s). whimsical, questionalble behavior, celebrities slightly out of their element but somehow perfectly in character...what is not to love?

i rate this at a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars as nothing is perfect, but this comes mighty close.

I had actually seen the film years ago, and remembered that it was funny, the last skit in particular, so I bought it. It is indeed a very well made film. It is that zany yet fun hodgepodge that I love about Tarantino films. It is graphic at times, so stay clear if you don't like that, and it is certainly adult, but it is also fun and wild and a very clever mix of fiction, fantasy and reality. I really like the film. My husband hated it, until the last skit, which he loved as well.

this movie was really good as for the acting, directing, and story lines. I was somewhat disappointed that Salma Hayek had such a small part though.

I'll be honest I only saw this film cause Madonna was in it.

She plays the role of a *gasp* witch!. Its wickedly funny in some moments but the rest of the film sort of drags on. Its a shame in the end all of the different characters like Antonio Banderas didnt meet up in the same room with each other. Instead we get sort of a mash up of different films put into one. Could have been much better

This is a hard to find movie but as soon as I thought about looking here it just popped right up. I can watch this movie over and over.Very funny.

This movie is too funny! They have to release it on Blu-Ray! You have to see it! It's a must buy movie for your collection!

Each director tells a different story yet it's all tied together by Tim Roth's character. Brilliant!

I liked this movie alot, a lot of star power. One of Quentin Tarrintinos first films. I enjoyed it from start to finish, theres some weird parts and funny parts. I liked it all in all. Its an acquired taste but if your a true Tarrintino fan than you'll love this movie for what its worth.

Great Movie.. Very funny. Sort of dark humor that can be an aquired taste but VERY clever and fun to watch.

Four Rooms is strange and quirky like other films produced by Quentin Tarantino. It was well done, and the actors fit the chemistry of their roles, but the movie gets occassionally slow pased. i give it a B.

a great find!! very good quality. loved it. a hard to find item. would buy from the seller again. I thought the quilty was very good. I always enjoy finding something with a unique cover that are normally very hard to find. the picture for the item from the seller was a very clear picture. it made the buying very easy as you could see what you were buying.

I have been looking for a copy of this film on DVD for a while. On a whim, I checked half.com. I found it easily, it was new(unopened), reasonably priced and I received it quickly.

funny movie - you have to be ready to watch a hysterical, off-the-wall, nonsensical movie to enjoy this one. It's one of the first movies I can watch over and over again and still enjoy the wit and humor about it.
